Life is weird. You are the Universe. This is the stuff I make.

Yo. I'm from Amesbury, Massachusetts.I was born in '84, and I grew up playing hockey, skateboarding, and listening to the Misfits. After studying architecture in college I moved to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands, where I worked doing print and graphic design. At the end of 2010 I was in a bad car accident, leaving me paralyzed from the neck down with only limited use of my arms. I have no function in my hands and I use a wheelchair. As therapy in the hospital I began drawing with the aid of a recreational therapist holding the weight of my arm, and using a splint on my hand to hold the pen. After moving home and gaining strength in my shoulders from friggen never-ending therapy and exercise, I was able to draw without the help of someone holding my arm for me. Eventually I began experimenting with watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting. Now I work full time creating and selling my work. Which is great, because at one point I had no idea what to do with my life. So at least I got that covered. Follow me on Instagram: @natebibaud
